Family Literacy Night

Donation reminders

Don't forget to send in the requested donations for Scholastic News and birthday celebrations. This note was included in the brochure you received in the placement letter before school started.

 SCHOLASTIC NEWS: Each student will receive a

subscription to Scholastic News. This is an

important resource used in teaching nonfiction

reading skills. A $6 donation is being requested to

cover the cost of this subscription.

Our recent newsletter also included a request for donations for birthday celebrations. Thanks again for your support.

 Our class will celebrate birthdays once a month. We

would like to collect a seven dollar donation from each

family. The money will be used to purchase a class treat

for the month. Your child will also be recognized on

his/her special day. We will recognize summer birthdays
